Wellbeing and Safeguarding
Newcastle Hockey Club's welfare officers are volunteers and club members who will be able to support and guide members, players, parents/carers on issues and implementation of club welfare and good practice. We are here for you to voice your concerns to which will be acted on in confidence.
We DBS check all coaches, assistants and captains involved with junior players throughout the club - both in the junior and senior sections. All of our coaches and captains are made aware of their responsibilities for the welfare of all U18s and vulnerable adults up to the age of 25. These include, but are not limited to, the following sections.
