As all Saturdays go, it's the pre match fun which everyone remembers the most. This weekend was no different and with Halloween upon us, one player decided to do some ghosting. Not only ghosting the captain and vice but also claiming they never messaged her...note to all check your WhatsApp settings.

Before push back could begin, princess Maggie was asked to change her keeper costume, which no princess should ever be asked and in true princess style Maggie said no and demanded a pink coloured ball, which was granted.

After the opposition were eventually ready and a long strong warm up for us, we could start the match! Around 15 minutes in they were attacking our D and causing some defensive chaos. Following a short corner shot, Lisa stepped up to save this by stopping the ball on the line with her foot. But fear not Maggie dived to her left for an amazing save, keeping the score line 0-0.

Unfortunately the opposition were out for revenge from the saved flick and we went 1-0 down in the first half.

After a motivational half time talk from Becks, we came out fighting. There was constant chat and communication, with feisty play and fast passes from defence to forwards. After about 10 minutes Anna was rudly pushed in the back while in the attacking D and in retaliagion gave the ball a big whack into the back of the goal!
We continued to fight and dominate the second half but unfortunately could not find that extra goal to secure the win.

Well played to everyone! Hopefully we can scare our opposition enough next week to secure a win!
